working lunch with megan souzaMegan Souza is a local cannabis industry leader and the co-owner and cofounder of Megan’s Organic Market SLO—the first cannabis dispensary storefront in San Luis Obispo. For the past 9 years, Megan has been working to bring regulated cannabis consumption out of the shadows by providing advocacy, education and safe access to cannabis and hemp users throughout our community. Megan grew up in SLO County in a family that valued hard work and entrepreneurship so she always knew starting a business was in the cards. What she didn’t know, was the unexpected role she would play in shaping public policy and stewarding a newly-evolving industry.
