Saturdays 8am – 1pm
Sharpen your photographic skills, take control of your camera, and achieve your artistic goals in the natural setting of Montana de Oro. Starting with a morning hike through one of the most panoramic paths on the central coast, learn how to work with light and shadows to capture creative compositions of these expansive coastal landscapes. In-classroom instruction will follow at the Buen Dia Store in downtown SLO. You will work with your RAW images to set up a solid digital workflow and master photo editing techniques to produce a 13×19 photo print you will take home with you the very same day!
Photo prints are printed using 100% Eco-friendly cotton paper and vegetable-based ink.
Workshops are kept small, at a maximum of 8 people, so all the participants can get one-on-one time with the instructors. Workshops are open to photo enthusiasts of every experience level, however we recommend having prior knowledge of basic camera technique for the Landscape Photography Hike.
