Business Workshop: Cannabis in the Downtown

If you are a member of the Business Improvement District and/or a business or property owner Downtown, please join us on Tuesday, November 7 at 5:30 PM for a special session of Downtown Foreword: Cannabis Forum. Understand Prop 64, local regulations surrounding this new legislation, and the affects for our community in Downtown San Luis Obispo. This event is presented by Downtown SLO.

PRESENTERS
Xandrea Fowler, Deputy Director of Long Range Development for the City of San Luis Obispo will be presenting on the regulations being considered by the City.

Jody Belsher: MA, Addiction Studies, Life Coach and director of The Other Side of Cannabis explaining the affects of cannabis on youth and adults.

Captain Chris Staley and Detective Jason Dickel will be ready to discuss the implications of Prop 64 in law enforcement and some pitfalls to avoid in developing regulations for our community.

There will be a number of opportunities for community input where you can express your opinions and concerns regarding marijuana dispensaries, consumption, and impacts in our Downtown.
