The Cal Poly jazz groups will celebrate both the return of performing live concerts, and the release of the double album “another time, another place,” which was recorded during the pandemic from the safety of students’ homes. Cal Poly’s flagship ensembles — Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Jazz Ensemble — will perform music from the album, in addition to music from classic and contemporary writers and bands alike.
