A guest artist presentation. Arnab Chakrabarty plays the sarod — a long-necked, fretless, plucked lute — and is a leading instrumentalist in the Hindustani art music tradition of northern India. Sanju Sahai plays the tabla — a pair of small, tuned, hand drums — and is a ninth-generation maestro of the Benares school. Both artists have toured extensively across the world performing concerts and teaching master classes that feature their North Indian classical music heritage.
