San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department is excited to start a new walking group with the SLO

Senior Center and community members. This will begin as an introduction group that will meet at the

Senior Center and go for walks around the SLO area. Led by the Senior Center’s newest liaison, Hadley

Clegg, these walks will include fun historical facts about different parks, landmarks, and more! Open for all

senior center members and anyone who loves to walk or wants to participate in exercise while spending

time with other Community Members. We will meet in front of the Senior Center at 8:30am and end around

10:00am on Tuesday mornings. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes. Hiking poles

and sun protection recommended. Waivers are required for participation.
