WILD FLOUR CELEBRATION
Every year, we eagerly anticipate the stunning superbloom of wildflowers that graces the Cuyama Valley. We immerse ourselves in the essence of freshly milled flour, mixed with the mesmerizing sight of blooming wildflowers. Join us for a weekend of culinary delights, education, and reveling in the splendor of our true Hidden Valley of Enchantment.
Itinerary
Friday, April 5th
- Check in at 3pm and enjoy a welcome drink
- 6 – 9pm: Live music by Victoria Bailey in the Garden
- Add-on: Enjoy a woodfired pizza made fresh in our outdoor pizza oven during our live music in the Garden.
Saturday, April 6th
- 11am: Edible Flower Cookie Workshop by Loria Stern of Eat Your Flowers
- 3pm: Afternoon Tea & Cookies featuring Flowerhead Tea and your own cookie creations from the morning class.
- 7pm: Multi-Course Dinner by Executive Chef, Hugo Vera with a focus on flowers and flour.
Sunday, April 7th
- Check-out at 11am
- Add-ons: Order a picnic lunch to fuel your day exploring the valley. We recommend the 11:30am wine tasting & wildflower tour with Steve Gliessman of Condor’s Hope, getting out onto a hiking trail, or visiting the Carrizo Plain National Monument. Purchase your wine tasting & tour ticket here!
