Honoring the spirit of Día de los Muertos, join Wilshire Hospice, Latino Outreach Council, and San Luis Obispo Museum of Art for a candlelight procession through downtown San Luis Obispo. Meeting in front of the First Presbyterian Church of San Luis Obispo (981 Marsh Street) at 6:45pm, for songs, community gathering, and spiritual procession in celebration of Day of the Dead. Holding candles the group will walk through downtown and end at the San Luis Obispo Art Museum. Costumes, face painting, photos of loved ones are encouraged. Candles will be provided.
The Day of the Dead celebration continues with a family-friendly festival in Mission Plaza on Saturday, November 4, 2017 between 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
