Downtown Education Series: Crime Prevention & Awareness by Downtown SLO

Downtown business owners, managers, and employees are invited to a *FREE* informational seminar covering the basics of employee safety, theft prevention, and anti-fraud concepts hosted by Downtown SLO, the SLO Police Department, and ULZI. The recent burglaries of the Apple Store indicate that not even high-end retail chains are safe from theft. Protect yourself, your staff, and store- and learn:

  • Crime prevention through environmental design
  • Develop a safety plan for your business
  • How employees can protect themselves
  • Concepts to mitigate fraud
  • Learn about the ULZI app and how to use it
  • Hear businesses owners relay their own tried-and-true tactics to prevent crime and theft

Session will include a Q & A, so please come prepared with your questions.

This event takes place on Wednesday, July 18 from 8 to 10 AM at the SLO Hot House, located at 872 Higuera Street, 2nd floor. Vigilance, information, and preparedness keep our community safe!
