Ernie Watts Quartet in Concert!

The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation is pleased to present the ERNIE WATTS QUARTET on Saturday, January 23 at the new Unity Concert Hall (1130 Orcutt Rd./ SLO). The concert starts at 7:30pm (doors open at 7:00pm).

Ernie Watts is a two time Grammy award winner and a 20 year veteran of the Johnny Carson “Tonight Show” band. He has played saxophone on over 500 recordings with diverse artists such as Cannonball Adderley, Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Marvin Gaye and Frank Zappa. He also toured with the Rolling Stones and is on numerous movie soundtracks.

His all star quartet from Los Angeles includes: Mark Seales, piano, Bruce Lett, bass and Bob Leatherbarrow, drums.
