Our first Insight Studio of 2022 will dive into the importance and reality of utilizing sustainable practices in business.
We will start with a behind the scenes tour of the Kompogas SLO anaerobic digester, the first of its kind in the United States. Central to local efforts to reduce carbon emissions, the system recycles local organic waste and converts it into renewable electricity. Sales manager, Thomas Gratz, will take us through how each station at the facility plays a role in helping SLO County reach the state mandated goal of diverting 75% of our organic solid waste.
Following the tour, we’ll head over to Tolosa for a glass of wine and discussion with CEO, June McIvor, about how they have reasserted their commitment to sustainable practices in recent years.
Join us April 5 for this hands-on learning opportunity and bring sustainability back into focus for you and your business. Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot.
