Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti wrote his E major keyboard sonata in 1757. The same sonata was the inspiration for Bartok’s 1927 string quartet, 170 years later. Join violist Caitlin Lynch and fellow artists at the beautiful Dallidet Adobe for an exploration of this work and how it connects to Scarlatti’s piece. Then, enjoy a gourmet luncheon by Chef Tracy Labastida of Field to Table Catering on the Redwood Patio, complete with wines from Lone Madrone.
