What to expect at WinterMezzo

At Festival Mozaic’s WinterMezzo chamber music series, internationally-renowned artists present educational events, culinary experiences, and intimate concerts in spectacular venues on the California Central Coast.  This season, Music Director Scott Yoo presents two weekends of great works of chamber music and offers three sequential ways to connect to the music and the musicians.  We encourage you to attend all three events in this weekend and experience the special intimacy that comes from Festival Mozaic.

DINE: Notable Encounter Dinner

Join the artists in a musical and culinary adventure.  Award-winning Central Coast wines from SummerWood Winery are paired with local, fresh cuisine by Chef Jeffrey Scott in the historic Park Ballroom in downtown Paso Robles.  Enjoy the hospitality of San Luis Obispo County while the WinterMezzo artists discuss and perform music by Rossini and Dvořák.

LEARN: Notable Encounter Insight

The WinterMezzo artists will take you on a one-hour tour behind the music of Bach and Beethoven.  They will give you insights into the composer’s life story, guide you in what musical elements to listen for, and share their perspectives on the works with artistry and humor.

LISTEN: Chamber Music Concert

Hear all the works come together in a traditional concert setting at the United Methodist Church, an intimate venue that is perfect for chamber music.
