Saturday, May 14 is a day set aside to celebrate the work of fair trade! This year, HumanKind is featuring our new lines of fair trade footwear from Sseko Designs and Feelgoodz. Come learn about where our footwear comes from and how it is making a difference for the makers in Uganda, Ethiopia, and Thailand.

And as a bonus, all footwear will be 20% off on that day! That includes Sseko sandal bases, ribbons, D’Orsay flats, and Feelgoodz flipflops for men and women.

Between 2:00-4:00pm, come meet Sseko representative Meredith who will be on hand to demonstrate ways to tie the Sseko ribbon sandals. Whether you are purchasing your first pair, or you are looking for ways to freshen up your sandals with new ties for the summer, Meredith can help you out!

Also starting at 2:00pm, come shop a sample sale of jewelry from 31 Bits! These beautiful pieces are made in Uganda using handmade paper beads. All 31 Bits jewelry will be 10% off and only in the store on Saturday from 2:00-6:00pm.

Of course, a celebration would not be complete with out some tasty treats, so help yourself to samples of our new fair trade teas from Level Ground Trading and Equal Exchange and cookies made using recipes from our cookbooks.
