Conscious Aging Retreat Will Create a New Vision of Aging
Three-day retreat will explore aging as an opportunity for growth and strength
SHospice of San Luis Obispo County (Hospice SLO County) invites the public to attend a retreat on Conscious Aging. The first of three sessions will take place on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This retreat will be held at Hospice SLO County, 1304 Pacific Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
Conscious Aging invites attendees to explore the next stage of their lives with intention. This retreat explores self-compassion, forgiveness, life review, transformative practices, death as making life possible, letting go and creating a new vision of aging. Led by Roslyn Strohl, LMFT, and Marcy Villa, participants are encouraged to listen to their inner wisdom and guidance, write and share in intimate conversation circles, and listen to the collective wisdom of the small group.
“This class opens our eyes and hearts to the fears, joys and possibilities of conscious, collaborative aging,” said Roslyn Strohl, LMFT. “Together we examine, review, reflect and reconsider these late life stages.”
Participants must pre-register for this retreat. All sessions are free of charge, but there is a one-time workbook fee of $10 collected in advance.
