La Cañada de Los Osos mural is almost complete—and it looks incredible. Artist Manuel Cruz has brought remarkable skill and vision to the project. In these final stages, retired local art teacher John J. Biven once again shared his talents, while contractor Matt Fochtman generously volunteered his time, adding beautiful layers of golden grasses.

Join us for a formal ribbon-cutting on Monday, March 30 at 4 PM, at the mural on the corner of 10th Street and Los Osos Valley Road—thanks to the LOBP Chamber for providing the ribbon and scissors. The event will be brief and celebratory. Manuel will conclude by signing his name beneath that of the original artist, Janice Sharman-Hand.
