Los Osos Middle School’s STEAM Art & Design

Los Osos Middle School’s STEAM Art & Design classes are participating for their third year in the Morro Bay Surfboard Art Festival. Students designed & painted two boards last Spring and teacher, Raquel Meinke, painted her own this summer. Please join us for the festival opening at Forever Stoked Gallery in Morro Bay on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5:00-8:00 pm.

Look for the LOMS boards on display during starting October 7 and through November at local Morro Bay businesses: Driptangle at The Coffee Pot, Yin-Yang at Cookie Crock Market, and Queen of the Sea at Wee Shack. Some of the boards from the last two years will also be on display at Mother’s Tavern, Creeky Tiki, Milestone Tavern, and Twin Coyotes winery in Cambria.

All boards are for sale and benefit Morro Bay in Bloom, Project Surf Camp, and LOMS Art Club. The Festival Art Sale will take place at the Inn at Morro Bay on December 2 from 10:00-4:00. Please contact Raquel Meinke if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing any of the boards.
