Good Morning SLO is our platform for sharing ideas, news and inspiration. A monthly program that brings community leaders, business owners, nonprofit executives and staffers together, and enables us to reconnect, engage and learn from each other.
Our goal is to provide insight into business, community and legislative issues and share the stories of those making a difference. We want audience members to leave with ideas and information about how to better their personal and professional lives.
Good Morning SLO happens on the fourth Thursday of every month except November when it is on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

As the SLO International Film Festival approaches its 30th year in action, we often forget about the work they’re doing year round to make SLO special. SOLVING THE CLIMATE CRISIS
While the climate outlook can feel overwhelming, important work is being done to protect our planet. Susan Callery recently retired from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, where she was the Managing Editor of NASA’s Global Climate Change Website. She will join us to share more about her previous role and climate insights from NASA.
SLO’S SUFFRAGETTE HISTORY
San Luis Obispo had a part to play in the suffragette movement, so this Women’s History Month we’ve invited Janice Carr to join us on behalf of the League of Women Voters. She’ll share the local history that should be remembered in the important struggle that gave many women the right to vote in the United States.

Have you been to the library lately? It’s not just borrowing books or magazines anymore. The library now has technology, tools and many other items and resources for community members to use or borrow. Erica Thatcher and Susana Lewis will join us from SLO County Libraries to bring you the latest news from our library system.
