In collaboration with the Central Coast Sculptors Group, San Luis Obispo Museum of Art presents New Perspectives from February 3 – February 26, 2017 in the McMeen Gallery.

New Perspectives features three-dimensional works by Central Coast Sculptors Group members Bouba Boumaiz, Peter Charles, Dave Doust, and David Van Zant. As the newest members of the group, this exhibition introduces their design aesthetic, diverse styles, materials and techniques to our Central Coast community. New Perspectives highlights these sculptors’ insights as they explore living and creating in a new environment, and reflects the creative synergy of the Central Coast Sculptors Group.

A public opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, February 3 from
6–9 PM, in conjunction with Art After Dark.

The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, dedicated to the education, presentation and preservation of the visual arts on the Central Coast, is located at 1010 Broad Street, on the west end of Mission Plaza. Free admission, donations appreciated. For more info visit SLOMA.org.
