Opera San Luis Obispo, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is once again returning to the Chapman Estate in Shell Beach with its annual outdoor concert Broadway by the Sea on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Gates open at 1 p.m. Concert begins at 2 p.m.
Music will include solos and ensembles from popular titles including Oklahoma!, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Three Penny Opera and a few surprises too.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the Shell Beach Elementary School parking lot located at 2100 Shell Beach Road and the Chapman Estate located at 1243 Ocean Blvd., Shell Beach. Patron parking is not allowed between Vista Del Mar Avenue and Cliff Drive. Tickets are $55 for concert seating, $75 for table seating and $600 for reserved tables of 8. Patrons are welcome to bring their own lunches, or purchase box lunches for $17 each when ordering tickets.
