“Art in my family is about as diverse as you can imagine! While my grandfather utilized his talent, painting freeway signs from buckets of paint, my aunt played violin for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and was an accomplished oil painter. Although my foundations in art began to develop as a child, I pursued a full time career and raised a family. As it turned out, both of my adult children are very talented artists as well.
“Elusive as it seemed, art found it’s way back and has become an integral part of my life. I enjoy painting the motion of surf and sea, and portraits that have some degree of unique qualities. My style is representational, utilizing a glazing technique of many thin layers to create a translucent effect that provides depth and emanates light from my paintings.”
