Picking Daisies has been chosen as one of the top-10 quilt
shops in the nation by Better Homes and Garden Quilt Sampler Magazine. The Fall/
Winter 2019 issue is being released this week, and includes a 5-page feature on
Picking Daisies.
This past February, a team from the magazine came out to San Luis Obispo to
photograph the shop, do an interview, and explore San Luis Obispo. The resulting
feature in the magazine not only tells the story of Picking Daisies, but gives lots of love
to San Luis Obispo.
In celebration, there will be a magazine release party at The Creamery Marketplace this
Saturday, August 24, 9:00am – 1:00pm. Joliene Bakery and Withco Coffee will join in
the celebration, offering a special brunch menu. There will be live acoustical music in
the courtyard. All are welcome.
