October is “Polio Awareness Month” and “World Polio Day” is recognized on Oct 24th. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has generously promised a 2:1 give for any polio-related Rotary event funds raised.
Doc Burnstein’s will be hosting three opportunities to raise funds for this worthy cause. You may support their efforts by simply coming into any of our three Central Coast parlors on the following dates and purchasing a sweet treat. A percent of the purchases during the time of the event will be donated to polio awareness and research with the goal to stamp out polio for good!

Santa Maria: Thursday, October 24th from 6pm-9pm – Doc’s in Santa Maria hosts a “Fun-raiser Night” to benefit the Rotary Club of Santa Maria Breakfast Club
Arroyo Grande: Thursday, October 24th from 6pm-9pm- Doc’s in Arroyo Grande hosts a “Fun-raiser Night” to benefit the 5 Cities Rotary Club.
