Rotary Club of SLO Daybreak to Host a Drive Thru BBQ on Friday, June 18 from 4:30-6:30pm
Proceeds to help fund its annual charitable giving to K-12 teachers, scholarships to high school students and grants to nonprofit organizations in the City of San Luis Obispo
The Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo Daybreak is excited to announce that they will be hosting a Drive-thru BBQ event June 18th at Lamplighter Inn and Suites, 1604 Monterey St. from 4:30pm-6:30pm. For the cost of a $60.00 ticket, you will enjoy a complete dinner for 4 including a whole tri-tip, beans, salad, garlic bread and cookies. Tickets can be purchased from any San Luis Obispo Rotary Daybreak Club Member through June 9th.
Proceeds for the fundraiser will go to benefit Rotary San Luis Obispo Daybreak teacher grants, student scholarships as well as community grants for the 2021-2022 Rotary year. All current covid-19 guidelines will be observed including masks and glove wearing by all volunteers involved. Club President Matt Janetski shared, “Rotary Daybreak SLO is proud to introduce a second fundraising event to the rotary year. Our annual golf tournament, which has been canceled the last two years, will be complemented by this BBQ fundraiser. Proceeds go to support teacher grants, student scholarships and community grants. The club looks forward to preparing wonderful tri tip dinners as a way to further serve the community.”.
