Join us on Friday evening, August 7th, at the San Luis Obispo History Center in the beautiful old Carnegie Library near the Mission in downtown SLO. That evening is SLO’s Art After Dark event and will be the official opening of SLORRM’s visiting exhibit on the historic Pacific Coast Railway. Andrew Merriam has put countless hours into designing this beautiful exhibit which will present vignettes of what life was like and why a railway from Avila to San Luis made a huge difference in the development of the town and, eventually, the entire county. The exhibit will stay in the History Center through the end of October.
