The San Luis Obispo Symphony will take on Dvořák’s “New World” with soaring spirits on Saturday evening, November 14, 2015, at 8PM at the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center. For this concert, the Symphony will be under the baton of renowned guest conductor, James Sedares. Both he and the soloist for the evening, Jennifer Frautschi, have received Grammy nominations for their superb recordings.
Ms. Frautschi will be performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor on a 1722 Antonio Stradivarius violin known as the “ex-Cadiz” celebrated for its breathtaking tone and its rich golden appearance.
