Science After Dark is a series of monthly public events with a variety of venues and topics.The second of ten special monthly events will be a unique opportunity for folks of all ages to participate in a “Lego Derby.” Thousands of Lego bricks will be available along with custom zinc wheel and axle assemblies to create fast and furious pinewood derby-style cars to race down the official track, complete with electronic speed sensors, provided by SLO MakerSpace. Compete individually or as a team. $5 per person cover charge includes access to Legos, light appetizers, and door prize drawings.
