The San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation is excited to present the multi-talented,3-time Grammy winner Oscar Hernandez and his Quintet.
Oscar, a pianist as well as leader of the acclaimed Spanish Harlem Orchestra, brings his all-star group which is comprised of Jimmy Branly on drums, Justo Almario on saxophone and flute, Eddie Resto on bass and Christian Moraga on percussion. This international Latin Jazz quintet has played with Freddie Hubbard, Mongo Santamaria, Tito Puente, Carlos Santana and Arturo Sandoval among many others.
This event is the Jazz Federation’s annual Marilyn Greenberg Memorial Concert.
