AVILA BEACH, Calif. – (March 2, 2016) – The SLO Gran Fondo presented by VisitAvilaBeach.com has opened registration for its third edition set for October 29-30, 2016. The annual fall classic cycling event, produced by Race SLO, features three routes – 25, 61 or 100 miles – that traverse over the scenic Central Coast of California. Last year, the SLO Gran Fondo was won by Cory Lockwood, 27, of Tehachapi, CA and Jane Despas, 50, of Menlo Park, CA, and Lockwood and Sara Bird of Los Altos, CA won the King and Queen of the Mountain titles.
