SLO Library Movie Event and Community Discussion: Blindspotting and Race

Join us for a screening of two compelling movies examining race relations in America.  “Blindspotting” (Rated R) paints a moving portrait of an Oakland man on parole as he faces gentrification and discrimination. After the film, there will be a community discussion with guest Dwight Patrick Gray of the NAACP. Finally, we will present a screening of “Race,” (Rated PG-13) a film depicting the Olympian journey of Jesse Owens. Community Room.
