SLO Railroad Museum hosts lecture “Why a Railroad to Avila?” with Andrew Merriam

On September 19th, visit the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum to learn why a railroad to Avila, and more! Andrew Merriam, railroad historian and board member of the SLO Railroad Museum, will make an oral and visual presentation on the Pacific Coast Railway. He will share the history and development of the colorful and unusual Railway, including the communities served, motive power, freight and passenger cars, prominent people, and facilities.
This is a free event, but donations are appreciated!
