Overview
In this workshop, students will be introduced to several different techniques for depicting the human body in their own style using dry media.
Working in studio and with a live model, students will learn model etiquette for artists, how to approach drawing from a model, how to handle longer and shorter poses, and any other questions that may arise.
Registration includes drawing materials and model fees. Age 18+
About the Instructor
Lury Norris is a local artist. She has been regularly visually creating and teaching since 2008. She has run workshops and classes teaching people to draw on the Central Coast and in the Bay Area and studied classical realism in the Bay Area for the past 3 years. Currently, Lury coordinates SLOMA’s Wednesday Morning Life Drawing sessions.

Registration $130 members, $145 general includes all materials & model fees. Call SLOMA at 805-543-8562 to register over the phone. Please register by Friday, January 10, 2020.
In consideration of our instructors, please review our cancelation policy: Students must pay in full at time of enrollment. Refunds may be requested up to 30 days prior to the workshop date and will be processed minus a $100 cancelation fee. No refunds will be granted after the 30 day mark. If the Museum of Art cancels the workshop, students will receive a full refund.
