Have you always wanted to draw, but felt like you couldn’t draw a straight line? Then this is the class for you! You will learn, step by step, how to tap into your natural ability to see and use visual strategies like an artist, enabling you to really “draw it like you see it.”
Class will include helpful exercises and step-by-step instructions through drawing using objects and photo images. Drawing is the foundation for so many different types of artistic media, from painting to sculpture to craftmaking. Learn the fundamental skills of drawing and broaden your horizons!
About the Instructor
Lury Norris is a local artist. She has been regularly visually creating and teaching since 2008. She has run workshops and classes teaching people to draw on the Central Coast and in the Bay Area and studied classical realism in the Bay Area for the past 3 years. Currently, Lury coordinates SLOMA’s weekly Life Drawing sessions.
October 12 & 13, 2019. 9 AM — 4 PM with breaks.
Registration $130 members, $145 general includes all materials. Call SLOMA at 805-543-8562 to register over the phone. Please register by Friday, October 4, 2019. Max 12 students.
In consideration of our instructors, please review our cancelation policy: Students must pay in full at time of enrollment. Refunds may be requested up to 30 days prior to the workshop date and will be processed minus a $100 cancelation fee. No refunds will be granted after the 30 day mark. If the Museum of Art cancels the workshop, students will receive a full refund.
