A presentation called “Speaking to Lead – How High Achievers Gain Recognition While Inspiring Others” will be given for professionals of all levels on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 pm at BoltAbout Coworking, 3050 Broad St, Suite 101 in San Luis Obispo. The event is being hosted by the San Luis Obispo Business Professionals Networking Group and given by Professional Speaking Coach, Deborah Lee.
According to a recent study highlighted in Inc. Magazine, over 330,000 professionals were asked to rank the top skills necessary for leadership. Number 1 was “inspires and motivates others” and Number 5 was “communicates powerfully and prolifically.”
“No matter what profession or position you currently hold, you will always be called upon to inspire, motivate, educate, and influence others. One of the best ways to do this is to speak and present powerfully,” said Deborah Lee, founder of Speak Your Best!, who has worked with business leaders and other professionals for over 20 years.
In this interactive talk, she addresses two top concerns voiced by her clients – how to gain more speaking confidence, and how to use the power of storytelling in your professional communicating to connect with and get any audience to take action. This talk will help you learn professional techniques and tips to elevate your speaking skills immediately.
