How do you get a complex and critical project completed on time that requires collaboration from a team spread out across an entire country?

Rodney Babock knows a thing or two about getting things done. As founder and president of Next Intent, he led a technical team to deliver complex components and sub-assemblies on time as part of a NASA/JPL effort to complete the OCO3 project. Next Intent has also been involved as a key supplier to NASA/JPL for the Mars Exploration Rovers (2003), Mars Curiosity Rover (2011), and the Mars 2020 Mission.

 

Rodney will also share details regarding the mission of the Orbiting Carbon Observatory-3 (OCO-3) that is slated to continue the work of the OCO-2 [pictured].

 

On Feb. 10, we welcome Rodney to TechBrew to share his insights into what goes into building highly technical and complex machinery.

Starting this month, we’ll be meeting at The Kinney Hotel

(1800 Monterey St. in San Luis Obispo).

Softec’s TechBrew is the longest running networking meetup for technology enthusiasts on the central coast.
