Vitalant (formerly United Blood Services) joins Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab in Santa Maria to make saving lives sweet.

Yes, it’s true! For every pint of blood donated, Doc Burnstein’s will give a donor a voucher for a pint of  our premium ice cream .

Launched in 2003, Doc Burnstein’s monthly Blood Drives attract hundreds of donors each year.  Doc’s Founder, Greg Steinberger says, “When you consider that each donation can save three lives, the 10,000 donations at Doc Burnstein’s drives makes for a staggering impact.”
