Thursday, June 29, 4:30 - 6 p.m. MINDBODY Inc. 651 Tank Farm Road SLO Parking is available in the structure

Join us for a glass of wine and an intimate conversation with the once, and future, CEOs of Farm Supply Company Jim Brabeck and Cara Crye, the week before he retires and she moves into the big chair. They will be discussing their philosophies on work, life and what it’s like to transition away and step into a new role.

Jim Brabeck, Farm Supply Company president, and CEO

Jim Brabeck’s tenure at Farm Supply Company started 53 years ago, just 14 years after the farmer-owned co-op started. With his guidance, Farm Supply has grown from 14 employees in one location to 108 employees spread throughout five locations in two counties. On June 30 Jim will officially step aside and hand the reins to Cara, beginning a new chapter for Farm Supply.

Cara Crye, Farm Supply Company CEO-elect

Cara Crye began working at Farm Supply Company 21 years ago as a part-time sales person. Currently serving as vice president of communications, a position that she has held since 2015, Cara has worked closely with Jim and all of the branches of the company to ensure the continuation of the culture as well as the business’s success in the community. Cara was named to The Tribune’s Top 20 Under 40 list, and was a member of Leadership SLO Class 11.
