San Luis Obispo County continues to experience a significant overpopulation of felines and shelters throughout the central coast are consistently filled to capacity with homeless adoptable felines.
In an effort to place our current feline guests into loving new homes, Woods Humane Society has waived the adoption fee for all cats and kittens for the entire month of September!
Woods Humane Society prides itself on being a premier animal care facility and every adoptable feline is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, personality profiled through the ASPCA’s Meet Your
Match® program, and micro-chipped prior to going home.
By opening your heart to a Woods Cat, you not only receive a wonderful new friend, you create an opening in the shelter’s adoption program.
“Adult cats tend to get overlooked during the summer kitten season,” said Cory Karpin, Woods Humane Society’s Executive Director. “By waving the adoption fee we hope to place more than 100 cats into loving new homes during the month of September.”
