The SBDC’s Search Engine Optimization (SEO) workshop promises to help target your local audience by bringing your message to the top of their search results.

During the two-hour workshop, participants will receive one-on-one consultation from the SBDC’s leading marketing and SEO experts. Dan Weeks, Co-Founder of SEO consulting firm Q-aces, will be leading the workshop and providing attendees with the same valuable information that has helped many of his clients generate success.

“This workshop presents a great networking opportunity for anyone attending and provides local businesses with the ability to expand their reach at a very low cost,” Weeks said.

Cal Poly MBA student Sean Read went through the beta version of the workshop.

“The amount of information that I was able to learn in just two hours was astounding,” Read said. “Not only have I expanded my knowledge base about the analytics behind search engines, but I also feel confident enough to start generating results and improving the ranking of any website put in front of me.”

The SEO workshop will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the SLO HotHouse, 955 Morro St., San Luis Obispo. Registration is required and tickets are available to the general public for $40/person.
