Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH) and French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC), with Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) are Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals, are pleased to offer free mammogram clinics on Saturday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 18, for local women who qualify.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, AGCH and FHMC have partnered with The Center for Health & Prevention (The Center), a program of the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo (CAPSLO), to offer the opportunity to detect breast cancer in its early stages and encourage other women to do the same.

The AGCH clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014.  To schedule an appointment for a free clinical breast exam, please call the Arroyo Grande CAPSLO Health & Prevention Clinic at 805.489.4026. After the breast exam, participants will receive a referral for a free screening mammogram at the AGCH Coastal Diagnostic Center. This special program is funded by the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation with major support provided to the AGCH Foundation by the Cypress Ridge Women’s Golf Rally for Hope Tournament.

The FHMC, clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014.  To schedule an appointment for a free clinical breast exam, please call the San Luis Obispo CAPSLO Health and Prevention Clinic at 805.544.2478. After the breast exam, participants will receive a referral for a free screening mammogram at the Women’s Health and Imaging Center at FHMC.  This free clinic is funded by the French Hospital Medical Center Foundation.
