Michael Morris, senior principal with the Andre, Morris & Buttery law firm of San Luis Obispo, will be a speaker at an estate planning workshop on Friday, Nov. 1, sponsored by Joe Brittingham, certified financial planner and owner of Brittingham Financial Group. Morris will present a program titled “The Basics of Estate Planning.”
The no-charge luncheon event will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Dolphin Bay Resort with food provided by Lido Restaurant located at 2727 Shell Beach Road in Pismo Beach. The workshop is open to the public, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
Morris, who has more than 35 years of experience in real estate, business counseling and estate and trust matters, will offer guidance on the subject of estate planning, including information on the benefits of estate planning, the basics of getting a plan developed and practical details on pitfalls to avoid when establishing an estate plan.
