Coastal Community Builders 150Area residents are invited to share their ideas on the design character of the future San Luis Ranch at a community open house scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 19 at the San Luis Obispo City-County Library.

Local homebuilder Coastal Community Builders (CCB) is hosting the May 19 event to gather community input.

Information stations will poll interest in various architectural styles, agricultural operations, sustainability measures and other development aspects. According to project spokesperson Marshall Ochylski, CCB officials are inviting feedback on a range of ideas.

“CCB wants the new neighborhood we are designing to integrate homes and commercial uses with continued agricultural operations in a way that represents the character of San Luis Obispo,” Ochylski said. “We value community input as we make our way to a specific proposal.”

Members of the CCB team will be on hand to introduce themselves and meet with residents. Refreshments will be served at the drop-in style event.

The SLO City-County Library is located at 995 Palm Street in Downtown San Luis Obispo. A parking structure is located next door to the facility.
