United Way of San Luis Obispo County (UWSLOC) is pleased to be part of a network of 1,800 United Way organizations. As part of this network, UWSLOC is working closely with their partners at the United Way in the Philippines. The staff and volunteers of United Way are working hard to identify and address both the immediate and long-term needs in the affected areas.
To that end, the United Way Worldwide Disaster Rebuilding Fund is activated to support communities affected by the typhoon in the Philippines. The fund is allocated to their partners in the Philippines, and contributions will be tax deductible for donors in the United States.
If you are interested in helping rebuild the homes, businesses and communities of those affected in the Philippines by the typhoon, you can donate via the United Way Worldwide Disaster Rebuilding Fund at www.unitedwayslo.org. If you have any additional questions, please contact Rick London at (805) 541-1234.
