More employees in San Luis Obispo County feel as though they are treated like a partner at work than anywhere else in the nation.

Recently named the top work environment in the nation in the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, employees in SLO feel as though they are treated like a partner as opposed to a subordinate by supervisors, explained index Research Director Dan Witters in a video about SLO’s placement in the survey.

“Your work environment well-being has a lot to do with your well-being generally.”

In a video recently featured at the SLO Chamber’s April Good Morning SLO breakfast, Witters explained how the survey was executed, what it means about the county’s work environment and what it says about SLO.
