Morro Bay National Estuary ProgramMorro Bay National Estuary Program is seeking volunteers to help with the State of the Bay Family Event.
Working alongside Estuary Program staff, volunteers will help ensure event participants have an enjoyable, memorable and safe experience. The event includes hands-on activities focused on marine science, and raising awareness about our local wildlife and sea life.

Volunteers will help with traffic control, greet vendors, direct vendors to their designated vendor space, greet event participants, and assure event participants use appropriate safety precautions when around the water (i.e. wear life jackets, hold children’s hands).

Vendors will work two-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Tidelands Park in Morro Bay. Volunteers will stand and walk around the park.
