The City of Atascadero recently awarded a contract to Wallace Group to design a complete revitalization of the U.S. 101 interchange at Del Rio Road. The project is to handle ongoing and new traffic demands in the area due to the planned construction of a nearby Walmart store. It will include planning and design of three roundabouts, including two at the freeway interchange and another at Del Rio Road and El Camino Real.
Central Coast government agencies continue to place Wallace Group on their lists of qualified on-call engineering firms approved to work on municipal projects.
