imagination park fall classicNipomo, CA – Get ready for good wine for a good cause during the third annual wine drive as part of this year’s Imagination Park Fall Classic on September 5, 2014 at Monarch Dunes Golf Course. From now until the tournament, community members are invited to donate their favorite bottle of wine in exchange for a chance to win 100 bottles of fine wine.

Wine bottle donations are currently being accepted at more than 11 wineries throughout San Luis Obispo County including Talley, Cinque Stelle. Fratelli Perata, Palmina, Toretti, and Vintage 1255 on Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo. Participants will receive one raffle ticket for donating a bottle of their favorite wine (don’t forget to sign your bottle!). Raffle tickets are also available for purchase at $10 each or three for $20. After the golf tournament, one raffle ticket will be randomly drawn. The winner will be the recipient of all the donated bottles of wine, valued around $3,000!

Funds raised by both the wine raffle and golf tournament, hosted by Blue Rooster Telecom, will benefit local non-profit Jack’s Helping Hand.  San Luis Obispo County parents or guardians of children who are diagnosed with cancer, injured, or stricken with a rare condition or disability, can turn to Jack’s Helping Hand for assistance with medical and travel expenses that are not available from other sources, or that exceed the family’s financial capability.

All funds raised by the wine raffle and golf tournament will specifically benefit Jack’s Helping Hand’s biggest project, the Jack Ready Imagination Park. This new park will accommodate children of all physical abilities and will include a sensory garden, special playground equipment, an equestrian center for therapeutic horseback riding, and more.
