Race SLO, the organizer of the San Luis Obispo Marathon, Half Marathon + 5K presented by LeftLaneSports.com, and Healthy Running have partnered to present a conference for healthcare and other professionals interested in maintaining and promoting the health of runners. Held in conjunction with the fifth event edition, the learning conference is set for Friday and Saturday, April 29 – 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and will be hosted by Gymnazo at 720 Aerovista Park Suite C, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
“With Healthy Running as a partner, this new conference, tied to our fifth anniversary edition, will offer workshops ranging from stability to core work, to stretching principles and more, and attendees will receive a certificate of completion, plus new skills and knowledge to take home and apply,” said Samantha Pruitt, Race SLO founder & CEO.
The Healthy Running Conference will be led by Jay Dicharry, MPT, SCS (REP Biomechanics Lab and director Rebound Physical Therapy) and Ian Adamson, MS sports medicine, BS bio-mechanical engineering (seven-time world champion, three-time world record holder and X-Games gold medalist).
