Tickets are now on sale for the 7th Annual Professional Advisors Luncheon hosted by The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County. The luncheon will be held on Thursday, October 13 at The Embassy Suites in San Luis Obispo from 11:30am – 1:30pm.

The Professional Advisors Luncheon is an important educational and networking opportunity for local professionals to keep abreast of topics related to the fields of philanthropy and community leadership.

Each year, this signature luncheon brings together over 150 professional advisors from across the county to network and hear from national leaders on industry trends. The speaker this year will be Joseph Lumarda, Senior Vice President and Investment Counselor at Capital Group Private Client Services. At Capital Group Mr. Lumarda works with high net worth individuals and families, as well as nonprofit foundations and endowments. Prior to joining the Capital Group over nine years ago, he served as the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at the California Community Foundation for 16 years. His breadth of experience in the fields of both finance and charitable giving will provide a rewarding dialogue for the Professional Advisors in our local community. The luncheon will also feature local professional advisor, Warren Sinsheimer, speaking on the role of an advisor in the community in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Janssen Foundation, a private foundation that has made a lasting impact on the local community in partnership with The Community Foundation.

“We are pleased to highlight the importance of building partnerships with local professional advisors to continue to make an important impact on the local community,” said Heidi McPherson, CEO of The Community Foundation.

Presenting sponsors of the luncheon include: Ernst Law Group, Sinsheimer Juhnke McIvor & Stroh, UBS, and Wells Fargo.
