The owner of an established restaurant in Morro Bay has plans to open a yet-to-be named restaurant on the Harford Pier in Avila Beach. Chris Dorn, the third generation owner of Dorn’s Original Breakers Café, plans to establish a new eatery at the former Pete’s Pierside Café location which closed more than a year ago. The Port San Luis Harbor District will be conducting repairs to the pier before a facility remodel begins which will include new outdoor seating for public use. The new eating establishment will open in 2015.
